What is a Life Group?
JHM Life Groups are small groups for junior high students GRADE 6-8. Groups are made of approximately 10-12 students (same grade and gender) and two caring adult leaders. Life Groups meet WEEKLY throughout the school year in homes, typically from 7:00-8:30pm.
Why Join a Life Group?
Life Groups are where students can EXPERIENCE Christ, His kingdom and the 5 Biblical Purposes of His Church. Life Groups allow students to connect with their peers in fellowship in order to build upon their relationship with God. Groups will laugh, cry, pray, learn, serve and experience life together.
Who are the Leaders?
JHM recruits, interviews, and background checks adult volunteers ranging in age and background. Our leaders‘ goals are to encourage, shepherd, and strengthen students in their walks with Jesus. Interested in leading? Click here to find out more about being a Life Group Leader.
What is the Life Group Commitment?
Being a part of a Life Group is a privilege. We expect each student in a Life Group to commit to the following: Come to group prepared with a Bible, pen, journal and good attitude. Respect your life group leader, Be kind and considerate of others in the group. Consistently attend your life group.
